On 12 December, Хэштег#GCIPKazakhstan hosted the 2024 National Forum in Astana, celebrating the most promising Хэштег#cleantech startups of the 2024 Accelerator Cohort. Five winners were selected, who will further represent the national cleantech Хэштег#innovations in global fora in 2025, including Хэштег#CleantechDays2025 of Хэштег#GCIP!

🏆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿’𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲: 𝘚𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘞𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘚𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘌𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘚𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦, 𝘔𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘉𝘦𝘵𝘰𝘯 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺, and 𝘒𝘢𝘻-𝘙𝘌𝘌𝘤𝘺𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨, also honored with the «Women’s Leadership Award».

📝 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:
The forum was opened by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Nyssanbayev, who emphasized the importance of implementing green technologies for the sustainable development of the country: «𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘊𝘐𝘗 𝘒𝘢𝘻𝘢𝘬𝘩𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘦𝘴.»

A key highlight was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the International Green Technologies & Investments Center (IGTIC) and Tusholdings, a Chinese leader in innovation, as well as with ZICER — Zagreb Innovation Centre, an innovation center in Croatia. These partnerships will open new opportunities for Kazakhstani startups, providing access to international experience and resources.

The event also featured a Cleantech Group workshop focused on developing green technologies in Kazakhstan and a business game «UN Summit,» where participants delved into climate negotiations. At Demo Day, Kazakhstani industrial companies presented their technological challenges, and startups within the Investor Connect discussed opportunities for collaboration with Хэштег#investors.
